Gatwick, London and train

First leg of trip:

Gatwick, London and Eurostar train to Paris

We got tickets on the ThamesLink train from Gatwick to London before the trip, so we wouldn't need to wait in line early in the morning (though even with reserved tickets, you have to get physical tickets from a machine).

We also already had tickets from London to Paris on the Eurostar train. The London St. Pancras Eurail station is unique and had some surprises for me. They have these very fine pianos just sitting out for anyone to play.

I captured a concert pianist who might have been out of work for awhile. His canine accompanist was tired, needed a break.

I went upstairs to relax and sketch, and the architecture and natural light in that area was very special...
